Me and The Stage

My name's Marston York and I'm an actor, voice over artist, writer and Reiki Master/Teacher based in London. I have a home studio and growing portfolio of voice work from animated character voices to continuity and narration and I opened my Reiki Practice in 2021

How much fun is being on stage? Well, for me, it's fantastic and I am thoroughly enjoying the opportunity not only to perform, but also to help other performers develop their vocal skills (find out more about that in the tabs above)

In the past few years I have had the great fortune to have played some wonderful characters in some beautiful theatres:

Pooh Bah in The Mikado by Gilbert And Sullivan - Questor's Theatre (I even won a NODA award for this!)

Ray Say in The Rise And Fall of Little Voice by Jim Cartwright - The Bob Hope Theatre

Long John Silver in Treasure Island, adapted by Ken Ludwig - The Geoffrey Whitworth Theatre and The Minack

Various in Road by Jim Cartwright - The Bob Hope Theatre

Harry in Hangmen by Martin McDonagh - The Geoffrey Whitworth Theatre

Brian in Dead Funny - The Maddermarket Theatre, Norwich

Paul in Treading The Boards by Harry Quirk - East Anglia Tour
